From his extensive studio experience as a drummer and percussionist, Ben has developed a considered and creative approach to getting the right sound, feel and part for every project.
Raised in rural North Wales, Ben took up drumming at the age of six. He earned a BA First-Class Honours in Popular Music & Recording at the University of Salford, where he under Dave Hassell and went on to complete a Masters (MMus) in Music at Goldsmiths University.
Ben has performed, recorded and collaborated with an eclectic range of artists and ensembles, including Bat and Ball, Easypeel, Deary, Muna Ileiwat, Uri Sade, Gabrielle Sey, Sister Lucy, Castorp and many more. He also has his own project, Ben Lamb.
He has performed at Bestival (main stage), The Roundhouse (Camden), The Queen Elizabeth Hall (Southbank Centre), Manchester Academy, O2 Academy Islington, Boondocks Festival, Other Voices Festival, The Lexington (London) and Moth Club (London).
